Setting up passive income will feel like traveling in the desert at first. Hot, tired, dry, sandy, not much fun. But stick with it, and you will see the money come.

Having passive income is nearly everyone's dream. It's a perfect way to make a living; you can work in your pajamas or underwear, you can work on your living room couch, and you can work any time of day or night. You can set up multiple streams of passive income and work online, if you give it time and have patience. Also, you must develop the right plan and carry it out. Steadily following the right plan is better than randomly trying to make money this way or that way. Think of yourself like a turtle; slow and steady. You will get there and be able to create passive income for yourself, your family, and maybe even have a steady retirement income in place for when you get older. The key is to start somewhere, do something, even if it's a small beginning. Everyone has to start somewhere. There are at least twenty-five ways to create passive income. Here are ways seven through twelve to create multiple streams of income.

Stream Seven, Another way to work online is to sell your artwork or photography as greeting cards. This is great if you're already an artist. If not, grab a digital camera and create photography with a simple background around a theme, hobby, or other specialized niche. If you need to brush up on your photography skills, there are plenty of books and free online information on this subject. If you enjoy writing, you can create verses or poems for the inside of each card. Some sites really like this, and you will receive greater exposure for doing it creatively than for doing it simply. As always, the more you publish, the more chances you have of making money.

Stream Eight, upload artwork/photos to photo or illustration sites. There are some requirements your photography or artwork must meet and some sites are stricter than others. Some sites will accept work from amateurs or artists just starting out, and other sites want only professional quality work. You will need to decide where your skills are, and how much time you can afford to put into this, at least at first.

Stream Nine, create special membership area on your website for a monthly fee. You need to have a website developed around a subject or theme, where you can create or come up with unique information and helpful tips each month. Create enough information, articles, tips, possibly recipes or formulas on your site and in that membership area that people will see as highly valuable and keep coming back for more and more.

Stream Ten, create other versions of of an ebook or article that you wrote. You can often sell other versions of your ebook for more money than for the ebook itself. For example, you could sell an audio download or mp3 download of yourself reading your ebook. Have it recorded at a professional recording studio, so it is clear and great quality. Consider also having it put into traditional book form, small booklet, newsletter, magazine article or column, game, t-shirts/mugs/posters, computer programs, and so on. You can also make yourself available for seminars and public speaking engagements or be a media expert on your subject.

Stream Eleven, create miniature versions of your ebook. Create smaller, quick and dirty versions of your ebook, say, something that can be read in less than an hour. Some people don't want to sit down and read a whole book. They may just want the basics, presented in simple format. This should be easy to create, just reduce your ebook to just the main points, with some examples and tips to remember. It can take many forms, such as a poster, small booklet, t-shirt/mug slogan, or tip sheet.

Stream Twelve, create products with similar angles, but different subjects for articles or ebooks you’ve already written. Make sure your newest products clearly relate to your previous ebook, so you can put yourself down also as the author of “This Other” ebook. This will also grab the attention of people who read and liked your first ebook, and may want more information. For example, if you've written articles on a certain diet that has worked for you, you may want to publish a cookbook of recipes that are perfect for anyone following that diet. Or if you've written an ebook on small engine repair, you may want to publish a hints and tips ebook for organizing your garage and tools. Depending on your subject, you could end up with 10 or more similar-angle-products that relate to your original ebook subject, but branch off into other related, but not-exactly-the-same subjects.

If your desire is to create passive income in order to have retirement income, you must think ahead now. Not only do you need to set up all the income streams early, you also should think about how will you be living at retirement age? What are your abilities: both physical and mental? What will you want to be doing? Set things up now in such a way that you won't have to do much to keep all your income streams going smoothly at retirement. If you're ill or have physical problems, you won't want to spend too much time maintaining your passive income streams. You will want to be free to focus on your health.

Planning well and think ahead will do much good in smoothing out your life, both physical, mental, emotional, and especially financial. Passive income often requires thinking ahead. Setting up these seven income streams will get you further along your journey of being independent and being able to live off your passive income streams.
