Ways 1-6 to Create Passive Income Over Time

Passive income, retirement income, earning while you sleep... doesn't it sound great? You can indeed create passive income if you have the right plan and follow it through. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme. All of these passive income streams take time to get started. It also takes focus, concentration, and patience. But you have the possibility of becoming very wealthy, if you stay with it. Each stream of passive income has its own benefits and concerns. You just need to plan carefully, and decide for yourself which areas of passive income interest you the most. Here are six ways to create passive income, in no particular order, and there are many more ways than these to make money. Five of these six income streams allow you to work online.

Stream one is real estate. Real estate is a great long-term investment, although with today's housing market, it doesn't look that way. But it won't stay like that forever. There are two major ways to make money with real estate. Buying apartments or houses to rent to others is the first great source of passive income. If you don't want to deal with stopped toilets, you can hire a property manager to oversee all the daily maintenance tasks. The major concerns here are to make sure you have good tenants, and that your apartments or houses are nearly always occupied. The second great source of passive income is to buy homes, fix them up, and sell them. If you want, you can even use real estate to create a stream of income to supplement social security and other retirement income. However, for this to work, you need to start much earlier in your life. Don't attempt to do this if you're very close to retirement.

Stream two, get to know and use Google Adsense. There are many ways to take advantage of Adsense, and it is completely free to use. You can sign up for a free Adsense account at Google's website. You can find Adsense by clicking on the Business Solutions link located under the main Google search box. Google Adsense works like this: when websites place Google's ads on their pages, the website earns money from Google when people click on those ads. The only concern here is to make sure you are following Google's requirements. Google is quite serious about its requirements, and will prevent you from ever having a Google Adsense account again, if you violate its requirements. They're pretty simple to follow, and mostly common sense. Google Adsense is one of the foundations of knowing how to work online.

Stream three, write ebooks to sell. Selling information in digital form is called infopreneuring. Infopreneuring can make a lot of money, if you market it correctly. You need to research what is selling like hotcakes right now. What are people interested in? If you have knowledge about a certain subject or have a lesson to tell from an experience you've been through, consider writing an ebook. It's a great form of passive income, because it is something you can always sell. The concern here is to market what people will buy. You can write all the ebooks you want, but make sure it is a high interest subject.

Stream four, affiliate partner with websites by recommending a product and directing your web readers to those websites. You can make a percentage or small amount of money every time someone buys a product from those websites. If you do this often enough, or create multiple websites, you can make a generous passive income. Concerns here would include following the requirements of each affiliate website, and getting traffic (visitors) to your website.

Stream five, write articles on internet. This is a great way to work online, and earn money while you sleep. You have to know and understand how to use Google Adsense first. See Stream Two above. Write into your article 3-5 keywords that are important to the subject you are writing about. Repeat each of them twice throughout the article. Start with subjects you know and are comfortable writing about. Keep writing articles and give it time; you will develop an audience and have money coming in. Concerns here include finding a good website to write for, getting readership, and knowing what subjects people are wanting to read.

Stream six, create websites to sell your own product. This is a possible option for infopreneurs, craftspeople, and anyone in business for yourself. Include free information on your website that are pertinent to your subject or business. Write informative articles. Have a free ebook. Make your website feel like it's full of good stuff, that people will want to visit again and again. This will likely lead to sales, even if they don't buy the first time they visit your site. Concerns here would be getting traffic or visitors to your site, and figuring out how to give people what they want (free or not).

Whether you want a little extra pocket money, steady retirement income, or are serious about making millions online, there are at least twenty-five ways to create passive income. Here I have listed six passive income possibilities. Watch for my other passive income articles to come. Setting up multiple streams of income is a worthy goal, and is an achievable goal, too. You can do it. Just set aside some time each week or month to work on it. For a while, you will work without seeing any or very much results. Give it time and patience. You'll get there.
